An all-rounder with experts from many industries: BMF text+

Whenever someone asks us what we translate, and into which languages, our standard reply is: “Any type of text into any language.” This alone does not distinguish us from the usual run of translation bureaus that you can find anywhere. Only our answers to the questions as to how and with whom we work will convince you that you have chosen the right service provider.

Quality feature number 1: asking questions.
What do you wish to achieve by the translation?
Or which results do you expect from your foreign-language project?
In which country/region does your target group live?
What is the position/function of the reader(s)/target group?
Which qualifications do you require from the translator/interpreter?

If you just want to know the content of a Chinese newspaper article, we can simply brief you by means of a low-cost telephone call. In such cases we need no detailed answers.

However, if you are taking part in a trade fair in China and need a locally known contact person, up-to-date brochures in Chinese and perhaps an interpreter, then we must draw on our network and ask you for some organisational details.

Quality feature number 2: choice of translators.
Our concept of quality assurance includes taking due consideration of your answers and then selecting suitable translators in the following way:

a) The target language must be the translator’s native language and the original language his/her first working language.
b) Which subjects are familiar to the translator: technology – business – law – advertising or medicine?
c) In which fields is he/she a specialist? (from A like anatomy to Z like zoology)
d) Additional considerations such as computer software, translation tools, free capacity and desired remuneration, etc.
e) Does the translator follow the principles of professionalism in accordance with the DIN 2345 standard?
f) Which QM system does he/she use?
